Open House/Registration for February to June session

We will be hosting an Open House/Registration session for the Winter/Spring 2013 session from 9:30-11 am January 28, 29, 30 & 31.

If you know anyone who might be interested in joining CPPG please invite them to come and see what we have to offer.

Cost of membership will be $120 per family for a February-June 2013 registration. We are opened 5 days a week, Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm.

Journée porte ouverte / Inscription

Nous organiserons une journée portes ouvertes/Inscription pour l'année 2012-2013 à partir de 9 h 30 -11 h 00 le 5 septembre 2012.

Si vous connaissez quelqu'un qui pourrait souhaiter se joindre à CPPG, s'il vous plaît les inviter à venir voir ce que nous avons à offrir.

Coût de l'abonnement est de 200 $ par famille pour une inscription 2012-Juin 2013. Coût d'un abonnement familial de septembre au 31 janvier 2013 est de 120 $.

CPPG is on summer break

Good day,

It is summer time and CPPG is closed for the summer, it is too hot and nice to be inside and there are so many things to do in the summer. If you send us an email, please be advised that we will most likely get back to you sometimes in August.

Garage sale/ Vente de garage

The Garage Sale is CPPG's main fundraiser of the year. So, if you are spring cleaning please consider donating some of the items you would like to clear out to Playgroup. Anything goes ...
Invite your friends and family to this event and make it an outing. We will be having a couple of games for the kids and hope to have a great turnout for this very important fundraiser for Playgroup.


You can drop off any items you would like to donate at Playgroup during the week before the sale (as of May 28th). The area on the stage will be closed during the week of May 28th to June 1st for this reason.

For the parents who have their activity days during those days, please prepare a story time or a Music&Movement activity also on Monday and Tuesday as the stage will be used for storage.

La vente de garage est la levée de fonds principale du CPPG.  Alors si vous faîtes votre ménage du printemps et que vous avez des articles que vous désirez vous débarrasser, apportez-les au groupe de jeux.  N'importe quoi !

Inviter vos amis, votre famille et faites-en une sortie.  Nous allons avoir quelques jeux pour les enfants.  Nous espérons qu'un grand nombre d'entre vous participeront à cet événement.

Vous pouvez apporter vos items au groupe de jeux durant la semaine du 30 mai, soit une semaine avant la vente de garage.  L'estrade dans la salle du groupe de jeux sera fermée afin que vous puissiez y déposer vos items.

Les parents, qui sont responsables d'une activités les lundi et mardi, devront préparer une activité de musique et mouvement étant donné que l'accès à l'estrade sera fermée.

Preregistration for September information about cost and duty days

Thank you for your interest in Playgroup. Your next opportunity to preregister is June 21, 2012 from 9:30 - 11:00 am. Please bring your chequebook as this is the only day we will be accepting preregistrations for September. (Cash or cheques only).

 The preregistration is for the whole year only, from September to June and the cost is $180 per family. But if you wait until September to register, the cost will be $200.

Our hours will be Monday to Friday, 9am to 1pm and you can come as often as you want and arrive when it is convenient for you except on your duty days.

Since it is a cooperative, we will require 2-3hrs of volunteer time each year from each member excluding activity days.

The Duty Days for the full year is 5 days and you will be able to pick them is September when you will know more about your schedule for the Fall.
And the committee members will do the duty days the 1st 2 weeks after each registration, like that all the members can see what it involves:

·        Making a small craft for toddlers, we have some all ready to go, you just have to make sure you have enough, usually about for 8 kids

·        Or preparing a music activity. Not very hard, we have a box with songs and most of the time the kids pick the one they like and we just sing them. The words are on it for those of us that don’t know the song.

·        Making sure all the windows are closed before leaving.

·        Wiping down the craft tables.

·        Wiping down the snack tables.

·        Vacuuming the floor and passing the broom.

If you have a very little baby, most of the time someone will help with the vacuuming and you can pick a day with music and movement for your activity day. It is easier that way from past experience.
